01 • LOCAL NEED & RATIONALE

Why targeted learning support is proposed in Tawang

Local context

Tawang is a high-altitude border district centre where terrain and distance affect access to supplementary learning resources. Long distances, difficult terrain and seasonal weather can make regular access to tutors, devices, libraries and enrichment activities difficult.
