Donation policy

Amounts and purpose

Donation amounts are stated in Indian rupees (INR). The online form accepts amounts from Rs 100 to Rs 10,00,000; review the final amount before authorising payment. Cause selections guide allocation. Where a programme is fully funded, unavailable or urgent needs take priority, funds may support a closely related charitable purpose or the area of greatest need. A separately agreed written restriction takes precedence.

Online and bank payments

Online checkout uses the payment provider identified on the donation form, including Razorpay or Cashfree. Paid status is confirmed server-side before a receipt is issued. Never pay a personal account claimed to represent the Foundation. Domestic bank and UPI details are published on our donation page.

For direct transfers, send your name, email, amount, date and UTR to the team. Staff must reconcile the bank record before issuing a receipt. Opening a UPI app, uploading a screenshot or returning from checkout does not itself prove successful payment. Please do not send foreign-source contributions to the displayed domestic account; contact the Foundation before any such contribution.

Receipts and 80G documentation

Verified online payments receive a downloadable PDF receipt. Bank donations receive a receipt after reconciliation and donor details are recorded. Email delivery depends on correct contact details and successful delivery; contact us if a copy is missing.

Our 80G approval order lists assessment years 2025-26 to 2029-30, subject to its conditions. An ordinary payment receipt is not Form 10BE and does not guarantee a deduction. Eligibility depends on applicable law, the donor's circumstances, donation details and statutory reporting. Contact us for required donor details and applicable tax documentation.

Cancellation, errors and refunds

Voluntary donations are generally non-refundable. There are no product returns or exchanges. Duplicate, mistaken or suspected unauthorised payments can be reported for investigation under our cancellation and refund policy. Refunds are not automatic.

Communication and donor privacy

Donation-related notices and receipts are separate from optional newsletters. Donor records are handled under our privacy policy. Do not send passwords, OTPs, banking PINs or full card information to the Foundation.
